Calcium and magnesium ions present in dissolved form in water cause water hardness. Aqualine water softening systems are designed to remove calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) ions from water, which are the primary causes of hardness. As a result, the softening system eliminates water hardness, softens drinking water, and improves the taste of the water.
Water softening systems automatically perform regeneration processes on the desired day and time of the week without any intervention. The resin, having reached saturation, undergoes regeneration with brine, thereby being cleansed of calcium and magnesium ions.
