Reverse osmosis refers to the membrane filtration process used to remove all unwanted minerals from water—such as seawater, highly conductive water, and well water—where conventional treatment systems fall short, with the aim of producing pure water. Osmosis is a natural phenomenon and, in short, the movement of water from a less concentrated solution to a more concentrated one. This process continues until osmotic equilibrium is achieved. Reverse osmosis, however, is the reversal of this osmotic flow. EFBİ Reverse Osmosis Systems successfully ensure the production of pure water as a result of this process.
