Reverse osmosis refers to the membrane filtration process used to separate all unwanted minerals from water—such as seawater, highly conductive water, and well water—where conventional purification systems fall short, with the aim of producing pure water. Osmosis is a natural phenomenon and, in short, the movement of water from a less concentrated solution to a more concentrated one. This process continues until osmotic equilibrium is achieved. Reverse osmosis, however, is the reversal of this osmotic flow. EFBİ Reverse Osmosis Systems successfully ensure the production of pure water as a result of this process. EFBİ Reverse Osmosis Systems can be manufactured in various designs and configurations according to customer requirements.

- St-37 epoxy-coated carbon steel frame
- 5-micron precision cartridge filter
- Low and high-pressure pipes: U-PVC / Zonder
- Automatic solenoid valves
- Pressure regulating valve on the pump outlet and wastewater line (for units ranging from BT 340 to BT 1540)

INLET WATER LIMITS
- Inlet water TDS: 0 – 2,000 ppm
- Inlet water pressure: 2 to 5 bar
- Inlet water pH range: 6–8
- Silica (SiO₂) tolerance: Maximum 25 ppm
- Minimum and maximum inlet water temperature (10°C – 30°C)
- Maximum iron (Fe) tolerance: 0.05 ppm; 0.2 ppm if ASC is dosed
- Hydrogen sulfide must not be present.
